They arrived today!
I’ve briefly written about my love for Lensbaby lenses before. My first purchase was the Composer Pro II Sweet 50. I’ve been playing with it for the past couple of months and I love it, I takes me away from the rules and leads me towards the feelings. When I think about the feelings of my portraiture though, I never think of 50 mm, I’m always thinking of my 35mm. Much to my absolute delight, Lensbaby have a Sweet 35 and since I already own the Composer Pro, I only had to buy the optic! #winning
I really love my job as a portrait photographer – I love connecting with people. After almost 10 years in the business of photography though, and learning how to take a good photograph by learning all the rules, lensbaby has come along and has given me permission to break them all and just have fun.
The exposure is way off on these two, but hot damn, I love it and I can see a direction I’m keen to head down. Time for some photo walks I think!
